OPEN CLASSES
Hip Hop, Lyrical & Musical Theatre Classes follow an open class structure. Emphasis is on choreography, artistry, performance quality & fitness. These classes begin with a cardio warm up followed by stretches, strengthening work, combinations & choreography. Although they do not partake in exams, students work towards the goal of performing in our annual mid year concert & end of year showcase.
PRIVATE LESSONS
We offer private lessons in all our provided dance styles. These are arranged based on timetable & teacher availability and usually run between 45-90 minutes. They can be beneficial to students needing extra time to practice their skills in order to partake in an exam or to supplement their other weekly classes. Private lesson availability can be requested by contacting our admin team.
Performance extension program (pep)
Performance extension program (PEP) is offered to students who are in grade 1 at school and above. Auditions are held in November each year for the mid-year concert the following year, and children who will be in Grade 1 the following year are welcome to audition. This program provides an opportunity for students to play a lead role or have a part in the ensemble cast, integral to the storytelling aspect of the show, and offers our students a chance to showcase their dedication to dancing and the school community.
Rehearsals for PEP students are on Saturday afternoons from the start of the year until the concert in June. PEP students are required to commit to coming to every Saturday rehearsal, as well as extra photo sessions and dress rehearsals.
Class Levels
Please note that age alone is not the only factor to consider when placing students into classes. We encourage all new students to book a trial class or contact us to discuss the most suitable class for each student.
