PEP Audition

We are excited to announce that next year, our school will be putting on both a Junior & Senior Concert with their own respective story and casts.

Our junior portion of the school will be performing Willy Wonka and our seniors, an adaption of the beloved Disney story Inside Out. We will be holding our Performance Extension Program (PEP) Auditions for both shows on Saturday 16 November.

This program provides our students with the opportunity to play a lead role in the concert, as well as ensemble roles integral to the storytelling aspect of the show, and offers our students a chance to showcase their dedication to dancing and their school community. Our intermediate students will also have the opportunity to perform in BOTH concerts.

PEP classes will be held from the beginning of 2025 until the concerts in Term 2 (Dates TBA) and will be run as a Senior Session from 3.00-4.30 pm and Junior Session from 4.30-6.00 pm every Saturday during term dates.

In Oz, she befriends a Scarecrow in need of a brain, a Tin Man seeking a heart, and a Cowardly Lion in search of courage. Together, they journey along the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, where the Wizard is believed to possess the power to send Dorothy home.

Back in Kansas, Aunt Em and Uncle Henry are worried about Dorothy’s disappearance. Meanwhile, in Oz, the Wicked Witch of the West becomes a formidable adversary, seeking revenge against Dorothy for inadvertently causing the demise of her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East. The witch’s dark presence adds tension to Dorothy’s quest, creating challenges for her and her newfound friends.

As Dorothy and her companions confront the perils of Oz, they discover the Wizard’s true nature and the realisation that they had the qualities they sought all along. The story weaves together themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the triumph of good over evil, making “The Wizard of Oz” a beloved and enduring tale.
